Arrow NYC GAYLA III - October 16-18, 2009

Kindly save the date. Friday cocktails, Saturday dinner, Sunday brunch and culture and debauchery everywhere in between. Join us!

TENTATIVE Schedule (Details added and changed as we know them.)

Friday evening October 16, 2009

7:30 pm - for those who would like to have dinner I made a reservation at Philip Marie in the West Village. It's at 569 Hudson Street at West 11th. I booked a table for 8 but that is easily expandable so if you'd like to join us, LET ME KNOW (either by PM or email)

9 PM - my fabulous co-hostess Rchavez will hold court at The Duplex at 61 Christopher Street @ 7th Avenue.

The evening's entertainment will go on from there.

NIGHTTIME SCHEDULE INFORMATION

Saturday, October 17, 2009

2:15 pm weather permitting - visiting Hudson River Park and the High Line. Both are great parks that are recent additions to the city. The walk along the Hudson is less known than the High Line, but with spectacular water views. It's a long-ish walk (about 1.5 hours in total) It's impromptu and free; it helps for me to have a vague headcount, but you can join us or leave when you wish. SATURDAY WALK INFORMATION

8:00 pm Saturday dinner at Pam Real Thai Encore - Good neighborhood Thai in Hells Kitchen, reasonably priced. This will be family style and prepaid and includes cocktails and hors d'ouevres before. It's $43 with some drinks (beer, wine, sake - I'll establish exactly what the week before - but last year it was two and they didn't bother counting) included. DINNER INFORMATION

Post-dinner Hells Kitchen bar survey, once again hosted by rchavez, because he's fabulous and your host has Jewish liver and falls asleep after half a glass of wine. We will start with Barrage after dinner, (it's right across the street from Pam) and then move on. NIGHTTIME SCHEDULE INFORMATION

Sunday, October 18, 2009

1:30 pm: Weather permitting - picnic in Central Park. Bring your own picnic. Locals - start making recommendations for great takeout. (Note - as of 10/14 the forecast for the weekend is rain, so let's work on a plan B - which would be shopping for some and museums for others?)

7:00 pm - The Diary of Anne Frankenstein - 13th Street Repertory, 50 West 13th Street. Tickets - $14.75 (you buy yourself online) Show runs about 90 minutes.

8:45 pm - late dinner Cafe Loup, 105 West 13th Street.

10:00 pm - on to VanDam for more entertainment - NIGHTTIME SCHEDULE INFORMATION
