That's awful!! Wow, big eye rolls next time I hear, 'FAs are here primarily for your safety...'--it sure doesn't sound like anyone was looking out for your safety that day. True, they're not responsible for the behavior of others, but they are responsible for they own behavior(s) that clearly exacerbated the situation.

Sounds like you did everything that you could--I hope the crew gets reprimanded and that you get an apology and decent compensation...another upgrade at a minimum! Oh yeah, hope Mr. Party Animal had a very bad next day...(-:
