Since most of us go directly to the lounge and don't linger in the terminal, it's worth mentioning that a wide selection of European and international newspapers is available
to all passengers at CDG 2F1. There is as much choice as in the AF lounges (except that there are no magazines). I have never seen that at any other airport in the world (and particularly at AMS): at least 20 different different newspapers in French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, free for everybody. Most airports restrict the distribution of newspapers to the boarding area (usually behind the boarding desk or at the entrance of the jetway).
