Forgot to mention: Strangely (?), I have yet to miss an upgrade into or out of ATL. 8/8, with only two of those as GM, rest as FO. (All leisure travel though, on weekends or around. And one of those 8 I barely made, thanks to a no-show.)
All four of my misses involve long-haul flights from/to JFK (JFK-SFO and back; JFK-SAN; JFK-MEX).
