Hadn't flown frequently in a few years, but new job has led to 19,000mi in past 3 months on AA and it looks like the pace may keep up next year so thought it'd be a shame to pass up going for Gold this year.

Would welcome any suggestions on getting those remaining 6K, ideally over a weekend at minimal cost.

Could travel to AUS, ACT, OKC for departure if necessary. SuperSnoop's recent post on "AA from AUS - 9582 miles for $452" still appears to be good this weekend (12/13-15), but goes way over my needs.
