[QUOTE=tcswede;10893676]For those who remember and by that outing your age - this has almost always been the case - in FRA in the old retro SEN lounge - where you had to walk up a stair from where today is the opening towards the b 30ish departure gates - meaning where today Mc Do and other things are on the upper level across from immigration into Schengen in T1 B you already ha to ask for the champagne - at that time we are talking 1994 - 96ish onwards and they would sneak you a piccolo or two or five ^

Yikes!
The memories! Those were among my "first" lounges. ( totally outing my age). I am afraid the stairs were sometimes a little...wobbly...certainly something to do with the poor construction materials Germans are known to use for their airports.
I was totally unaware of the piccolo smuggling technique. I was asking one one bubbly, afraid of the dragoness overlooking the lounge. The campari/orange juice is a totally different story though and I don't want to og OT

Funny you should mention this real stuff as it is exactly the one that the OP is miffed about - albeight in F and to which others have added comments such as acid....

Ahem, acid MIGHT be, and I kind of "agree" on the poor F champagne choice, even if , after Delta, all is ( almost) good, really!
