As usual - here am I - drawn like a moth to the flame. Reading this thread is a little like watching Jerry Springer or his ilk. You know that you shouldn't watch it, you know that no good will come of it, and you know that this is not something that you admit to doing to even your most intimate friends. However, when I took my husband to see "Jerry Springer - The Opera" in London when it opened at the National Theatre it was abundently clear to me that the anitcs and exhibitions that people made of themselves on the show were clearly well beyond anything vaguely resembling Passing Interest from the audience at this usually rather high brow and occasionally hoity-toity London theatre.

The topic was aired (excuse pun) about 2 months ago and I thought that it was particularly apt and as IAH is Continental territory (We are probaly the only thing at a gate without a blue and yellow tail!) - who knows maybe - just maybe you have encountered this lady before.
FWIW - the way I dealt with such noxious vapours in times past was to light a match. No there was no risk of explosion - there is not enough methane for that - but the smoke from the match cleared out the smell. Now that trick had gone the way of all tircks and been turned for every.
My favorite TFTG involved the woman doing the Can Can in F on LHR-CAI. That story makes me laugh out loud whenever it crosses my mind.
