I now always say "sales meeting". I used to say "meeting with a supplier" which in the old days (pre 9/11) seemed to get me waved through right away. Post 9/11 resulted in, "What supplier?". Sales meeting works just fine.
By Internal Meeting, do you mean with US Parent or home office? If so, just keep a copy if the home office letterhead and your Canadian business card handy. They have been pretty picky in Toronto.
That said......TN Visa applications and renewals here in YHZ are smoooooth.
