I've heard the same info regardign the core product remaining free. I was referring to an optional upgrade to an expanded lineup of TV stations...just like you have the optional upgrade to purchase a $5 movie; maybe they will have an option to upgrade to an additional ~50 channels (while, of course, keeping the current 36 for FREE)
