Apologies, I could wait and ring BA tomorrow but hey isn't this the great thing about FT? Anyway, I have a (country) offer for a companion ticket and have a business trip coming up. My wife would love to come along but I have a feeling it isn't as 'free' as it sounds and may cost quite a bit in taxes / fuel charges etc. I've never booked a companion ticket - does anybody know if you have to pay the surcharges and roughly how much these are for C/F to US?
