Well, I don't think this will head that way as it looks like everyone got something they wanted and didn't want:

A) the Delta pilots got 'relative seniority' -

The first 3,045 pilots were merged 1.80/1 (DL/NW)
next 2,433 were merged 1.17/1
next 3,932 were merged 1.90/1
the last 2,271 were merged 1.37/1

B) both pilot groups got a "fence" around certain widebodies:

- all 16 744s can only be flown by NW pilots for 5 years
- all 16 772ER/772LRs can only be flown by DL pilots for 5 years
- all 18 787-8s can only be flown by NW pilots for 5 years
- any replacement for the 744 can only be flown by NW pilots

All other aircraft, i.e., narrowbodies, 767s, A330s are all "open", i.e., if a position opens up on any aircraft, it is fair game for either DL or NW pilots
