I got NW silver by getting a status match from AA Platinum. I have not flown Delta at all this year but starting next week I will have three flights. Should I get a NW status match to try and get some free baggage or is that already in effect from the Dec. 4th announcement. The baggage no fee is really my goal as it is an Xmas trip and a ski trip in the works with the family. Baggage fees would be a bit of a damper when I am carting stuff around.
