The last post is wrong: you can live abroad; all you need is to have a bank account in France, to be debited. Several people on this forum have this card although living in Holland.
Amex-AF Gold card allows the owner to get "status miles", to reach upper levels, but these miles are credited as well as "normal miles" I can spend later on?
Of course, you can. These miles are award miles before all; they are also level miles if they are earned on Skyteam flights (or with the french Amex)
