My latest stay last Saturday.

Had a one-night stay last Saturday in HOTB. As Bchl mentioned, the staff there are very nice and helpful. Great service from check-in to check-out.
Just booked one standard room and got upgraded to 23rd floor in the East Tower. First assigned a room with River view(can only see the partial view of Lujiazui, but no Bund view - the room is kind of opposite to the bund). Politely asked for a bund view room, got a postive answer in 20 seconds, and then be escorted to the new room(with good bund view and half Lujiazui view). The decorations of the two rooms are somewhat different. I actually fancy the decoration of the first room, but finally I took the view over the decoration.
I guess that rooms with number XX20 to XX25 are the same type of first room assigned to me, that is with no bund view, but better designs and decorations. Rooms with number XX26 to XX33 should be bund-view rooms. Room XX26 or XX27 is most likely to be the best room with excellent views, I guess.
