SVO2 may be quite an experience indeed, but it is not one I am in a hurry to repeat. When the new terminal opens, SU will become my preferred airline for travel to Asia (yes, I've flown CX and no, I don't really like'em).
If I were you, I would choose OS. In my book, paying a couple of hundred dollars is well worth it for the easy transfer, good food and shorter Y flight times. Plus you should be able to get yourself some *A miles...If you must have some orphaned miles, they're the ones to have!
