I have stuck by EK in no small part due to the perks of being a Gold member - notably the lounge access and the extra luggage. I will clock up well over 100K tier miles this year and do not fancy a track to T1 to use a lounge on the 40% or so of flights that I take in Y.
I was really looking forward to a new and less crowded terminal with no bus trips to get to and from the plane. That kept me going with EK on each seemingly interminable trip around the airport by bus, followed by a scrum at the security gate.
Apparently the reality is a still overcrowded terminal, with a walk to the other terminal if in Y and want to use a lounge, and the bus trips are still taking place. I am so unimpressed - I feel like I have been conned. Has anyone got an email address we can use to complain to - as close to the CEO as possible please!
