I wouldn't agree they are fuzzy on the earning period at is says very clearly on the AP website when the Top-tier status qualifying period begins & ends.

However, now you've discovered rule #1 for FFM/FFP, which is Read the fine print, you're unlikely to make the same mistake again. Happy vapour trails.
