OK, so you "peeked around the curtain". { do you also peek around curtains anywhere else?} If you were truly concerned about your safety during the flight, why not take action then, as opposed to after the fact. In submitting a letter to AA about this incident, you are indeed "tattling". What else can you call it? You took no action during your distress, but thought about a letter detailing it after the fact, once you felt safe again?
