Moving to Chicago; DL Plat Has Some AA Questions

Hi all,

Im moving to Chicago next week and am thinking of switching to AA (most likely) or UA.

Here are the facts about me:
-I'll be a DL1, aka Platinum (75,000 miles flown exactly in '08)
-I'll be flying mostly to SLC, SFO, NYC, BOM, DEL also with some NZ and Europe thrown in.
-I'll be booked in coach for all flights
-I was upgraded for free 90%+ on DL domestic as a DL2 (Gold)
-I have an Amex that gets me into the Admirals Club for free

Given all of that, this is what Im looking for:
-A status match or challenge of some sort. What deal would be on the table from AA? I did a challenge 3 years ago and came up short. I shouldnt have a problem making a challenge this time around.
-What sort of domestic upgrade % would I expect?
-How does AA domestic 1st product from ORD compare with UA or DL?
-How easy is it to get intercontinental upgrades from ORD? I know that's a question worthy of its own thread...but in general how easy is it?
-Is AA matching Southwest fares to common markets?

Thanks for any and all feedback!
