Is it worth staying here rather than downtown for one night? We are arriving around 11pm and have the next evening flight at 6.30pm to catch. We've never been to Vancouver, and because of the late checkout (with Plat status) we are looking at SPG hotels. Seems that Westin Grand is a little but not much more expensive. Apart from seeing a thing or two in Vancouver and being worried about getting downtown from Richmond, is there places to run near 4points? I am leaning towards 4points, but not sure if that would be a mistake considering that a taxi from YVR to downtown is not that expensive. It looks like Richmond is a nice area to explore too, but so probably is Vancouver. Any suggestions would be welcome.
