When a storm comes through, the winds are usually out of the south or southeast, and landings are on runways 19R and 19L. If that is the case, best place to sit is the right side, assuming you want views of the city and the bridges.
If the winds are really out of the east or northeast, then landings will be on runways 10R and 10L. Best place to sit would be on the left side.
According to weather.com, winds are showing from the ENE at 3 mph for Friday when I pull up San Francisco. If I enter the airport code SFO on weather.com, forecast is similar but it shows winds from the SSE at 4 mph with a high of 63, partly cloudy.
Looks like a rather decent day, only thing being different from the norm being the wind direction.
Will check the forecast on Thursday - I would like to get some photos of the city and bay bridges. Should be able to get a good view of one of the two, unless the ceilings are low, but 63, partly cloudy and being late afternoon it sounds like wx will be favorable.
