The PH is our local and we use it when we are in town or before flights. It is one of the nicest places in town and have never been able to work out what has got up the noses of previous post. Australian GMs are not the meet and greet sort, they tend to be the deal makers, and rarely go out of their way to meet guests who are on freebies. Hyatt rates are clear cut, they do not include breakfast unless you buy that rate. Truely if you can't afford a breakfast, you shouldn't be in a Hyatt anyway in the Asian region. The problem is the overseas gold passport holders are used to $80 nights compared to Asia which range around the $500.. If you don't like the PH, may I suggest the Sofitel at the top of Collins, regards bkkrop
