I know Sean and for those of your accusing him of only wanting something - I think you're WAY off base. He tried to get a response from the hotel and when it was unsatisfactory he asked for opinions here.
As a single female MO PLEASE follow up with corporate. This could have been a major disaster (not just b/c of valuables). Any hotel - esp *wood that takes security so lightly needs a wakeup call. The cost of the room isn't the issue!
