The Worldclub at LAX may not necessarily match the services of NZ's club which is catering to an international clientele, but I have definitely enjoyed the many years I have used NWA at Termainal 2 in LAX-- the ability to get in and out of LAX quickly based on terminal 2's location and the second floor corner World Club with its view of the runway and the city in the distance along with the self-service amenities.

Granted this is unconfirmed heresay-- but I was recently talking to a DL Crown Room attendant in Terminal 5 who asserted that the LAX plan is ultimately to merge NWA into DL's Terminal 5 operations. While this may make logistical sense and be inevitable, I will definitely be sad if the day comes that NWA is gone from terminal 2. I prefer the Terminal 2 World Club to Terminal 5's Crown Room and it is certainly much more of a hassle to check in at Delta's Terminal 5 counters and to reach Terminal 5 by car on a major holiday.
