I really like my Citi PremierePass World card and my Hilton AmEx. Both give 3 or more points/dollar for gas/drug store/grocery/restaurant purchases. This past year we flew RT BUF/IAD for 20,000 pts/ticket and I also bought $450(with points) in Best Buy gift cards on the Thank You Network and used that towards a new laptop-all with the Citi card.
With the Hilton AmEx we are racking up points with bonuses for stays and booking online.
Both cards have a shopping portal too for extra points.

Citi is $75/yr. AmEx is free.
