FWIW, both my LAX/HNL flights last week cleared inside the 24-hour window, but before going to DM. So, while CR1s are unlikely to get you any joy ahead of time, they will put you on the PA waitlist instead of the PB one you'd get with 500s, and they appear to still be clearing (at least the PA) waitlists before heading to the gate.
Just to clarify something I should already know (
), those waitlisted with CR-1s -- regardless of their status -- are on the "PA" list and ahead of all those on the "PB" list, i.e., those waitlisted with 500s or RDMs,
until DM takes the list, right?
