Agree that the BA/QF lounge is small and gets really crowded and the food and drink selection is nothing special at all. I would definitely use the CX lounges - I quite like the Pier even though it is a longer walk, anyway it is always nice to stretch your legs before a long flight. The food selection is pretty good at the Cathay lounges and they also have a proper restaurant in the F lounges (at least in the Wing). They also have a cool games room with playstation games.
