Regardless of how much you pay, it's just sick how they charge for date changes (I know, others will come about and say this is how business works etc). Still when you pay premium fare, you would reasonably expect a waiver of all these nonsense 'service charges'.

Why is it, then the fares EK sells from various points in the Middle East and Africa have no penalties whatsoever (refund fee is a mere $25USD, no change/revalidation charges for tickets even in Y -with few exceptions).
