Feel free to speculate but its not going to happen. AA would probably drop the route entirely before they switch it to mainline.
Mind you, I doubt AA will drop CLT to MIA anytime in the near future. Hopefully, someday CLT will see more than just to DFW mainline. Of course, the eagle flights are not that awful. The exit rows for 1 to 2 hours aren't so bad. Safe Travels!
