I quite agree. I was (after so much build up in positive comments here and elsewhere) underwhelmed by the CX lounges when I finally tried them. By the time I got to the BA Flounge after I was very happy to see it had both Pol Roger and dim sum...and that's enough to make me happy

To be fair, for more substantial meals the CX lounges win hands down, of course - the noodle bar was definitely nice. Plus the shower suites. But you'd expect that from 'home' lounge offerings. I now wouldn't go out of my way to visit them specially unless I wanted a full meal or a shower/cabana.
