I'm in the middle of a connection at the moment - CLE-CVG-MCO - and when I got to CVG I realized there was a 9:00 CVG-MCO rather than the 11:00 I'm on now so I went to see if I could hop up.

CRC agent said I could do it but I couldn't get my bags on that flight or that I couldn't because I couldn't get my bags on the flight (one or the other). Is that indeed the rule? I've changed my flights a hundred times at the ticket counter but very very rarely during a connection so I'm a little flabbergasted.
