Best rewards card to recommend. Preferably not a Chase product.
With United miles devaluation and my friend's recent dislike of Chase, what do you suggest as an excellent rewards/rebate card? I may suggest the Penfed MC with 1.25% rebate on most things, 2% on groceries & 5% on gas. Rebate back next month. I have the Penfed card myself & use it mainly for groceries & gas.

Is there a better card than Penfed for the long term? I may have him churn Citi AA for some miles in the meantime.
