A friend was recently flying CHC-MEL. She saw a Chinese man who had found three seats in Y asking the FA for pyjamas. The FA was having trouble making himself understood, so found a Cantonese speaking FA, who managed to make the man believe no pyjamas were forthcoming.

That FA then went back into the galley and said to the other crew: "Yeah, I told him. What does he think this is? F***ing Emirates?"
