BS tickets gets me a low boarding pass no matter how close to depature I book a flight, and is absolutely worth it.
On personal trips on WN, I usually plan weeks to months in advance, and always take the lowest "Wanna Get Away" Fare
I have used only 3 times in past 12 months, only due to last minute changes. I am A-list and earn 13-14 RR tickets/year. My company has made it clear that WN BS fares are a no-no for 2009. If I change flights I had better have a great reason or I pay the difference. I have seen a decrease in the number of BS pax the past few months, possible that the accounting dept memo's are being read.
Frankly I fly F9 more and more due to fares and no change fee's sameday travel for Summitt members and the drinks are free (no coupons required). Elite boarding and assigned seats are better than WN deal, no line poachers here.
