Quick bump on this - I recall reading a thread a while back about the AT&T (or MCI?) service that you could dial a local number in the country you are in and then dial the regular UA 1K number.

Does anyone know about this? I can't find the thread, am in KUL now, and need to call UA. No listed number within KUL for UA (though they do have them for SIN or BKK).
