Certainly true about Bulgari, but since the Bulgari properties have a specific look and feel, maybe this is a way to introduce new (smaller) properties that do not adhere to Bulgari's standards.

Agree here too and if you look at the RC website, it's not like the villas are that large (for that part of the world, at least). And to charge those rates for a renovation (as opposed to a completely new build), seems doubly insulting.

At any rate, I don't see anything here that indicates the property offers true value for the money. But maybe I'm wrong - only time will tell. One thing is for certain, if RC cannot offer the level of service that claim they will in the PR release in Thailand, they certainly won't be able to do it anyplace else in the world.
