The fuel surcharge did not go away. It has been moved to the ticket price.
Although total price is more or less still the same, I congratulate them for being more transparent. ^
Admin fee & Tax are not hidden. It is show together on the same page (on the right side) as soon as you select your flight, showing all details and TOTAL to be paid. ^
This is very different in the case of Tiger & JetStar. You have to select the flight (thinking it is cheap), go to the next page, the number is totally different.
AirAsia how ever try to push in insurance mid-way, and hope that you don't notice. You have to physically remove it before going to the cc section.
Tiger will show you $xxx & ask for your cc. Once you have enter it, it will take $yyy off you WITHOUT telling you before hand. THIS IS VERY DISHONEST.

If you look carefully, the small print say something that there MAY BE a convinience fee. Why can't they tell you straight in your face that they will take $yyy off your card. I will gladly pay it.
Anyone have any experience with JetStar? I've not been flying with them for quite a while.
