Thanks SanDiego1K for the message of hope. I never book non-refundable rate but I was pretty sure that I would enjoy my long week end stay in Bangkok and Chiang Rai until the PAD decided to take over the airports in BKK. Looks like I will need some mercy from LM both in BKK and CNE.
