I booked couply nights at a W in NY for January and for first time ever booked a non-refundable rate. Difference was small, but I was certain about this weekend. Plans changed so I won't stay there. Any chance of getting credit for what I paid (stay/nights/points)? Automatically, or need to ask politely to hotel, or to SPG, or need to try and check in/out on the phone remotely...? Any advice?
