I am right now in the Premium Terminal in Doha – Arrived on A class from Sanaa in Yemen and will in 9 hours leave on C to Kathmandu. From all the discussions in this forum I had expected to get a hotel and therefore went to the Hotel desk in the normal terminal – However they definitely seem to have become much tougher on the whole STPC thing – the guy behind the desk hardly looked at my ticket and didn’t even feel that he had to tell me that I had no right to a hotel – The only thing he did was to write “no STPC”, stable my premium terminal invitation card to my boarding card and give it back to me. So STPC seem to have a lot to do with the fare paid and the routing – My wife went from Washington to Kathmandu two weeks ago and was given a hotel on a economy class ticket that was cheaper than my ticket from Sanaa to Kathmandu.
