Depression for a leisure UK traveller
Is there any good news for leisure travel this winter?

1. Looks like travel to India and Thailand are out for the moment
2. USD has risen sharply recently (and USD-linked currencies like the Middle East and the Carribean)
3. EURO has also risen and the Euro zone is like to remain cold during Jan - Mar

If one can survive the UK credit crunch, what destinations are people spending their miles on the 50% off offer to reach somewhere for a break this winter.
