Do you earn bonus points for booking through this site? Used to be that booking hotels through AC's website was done in conjuction with hotels.com, so you did not earn any hotel points and if you needed to cancel, there was a $25 penalty. Is this still applicable?

Why not book through Aeroplan e-store where you get 1 mile/$ spent?
