Inasmuch, I must admit that I groaned inwardly when I saw the title of this thread but felt buoyed up when I then saw the level of support for the cabin crew at Gatwick, we really do try our best ( and I say this as a Purser and onboard Manager) it just seems that sometimes we have very little to work with and need Blue Peter badges for being able to "fix" things and try to give you our customers a good impression
Anyway we are here to stay and will ride the storm of the current climate!!
I just wish I could meet one of you on my aircraft one day

On the very infrequent times I have flown LGW <> TLS (and going to be more infrequent given the forthcoming move of TLS to LHR) I have always found the LGW staff very friendly and amenable. OK I guess they have a different group of PAX - mostly holiday makers - but all seemed to be treated to the same high standard.
