Is the best for breakfast rate worth $25 extra per day?

Thanks in advance
I'm trying to find out if the breakfast at the hotel is any good and about how much it costs. Me, my wife and two kids will traveling there next summer and I'm trying to decide if I should just book the 'best flexible rate' or if I should book the 'breakfast flex' rate (which adds about $25 on the nightly rate). Also, the rate rules state "Fully flexible rate includes breakfast for one or two residents adults sharing a room" - does this mean I have to pay extra for my two kids to eat (they're only 5 and 6 yrs old)? If it makes a difference, I'm platinum (don't know if they have breakfast coupons, etc for Plats). Thoughts? Suggestions?
