Done the route 5-6 times now and always had a good experience.
I agree the Astraeus flights are my least favorite but they are not that bad…

While BA have a far superior product (hard product anyway) their prices are consistently and considerably higher.

The BA 50% redemption sale is brilliant but J is extremely hard to get on the route ( while DC will almost always open up a seat for a Gold member) and why you would suggest this to the OP anyway, when it is clear from their profile they are not EC members I do not know...
