Segs should come back I agree but 750 MQM min? NW has a 500 EQM min and it works out fine. I just think there should be some differentiation between flyer's (short haulers included..your point well taken) and non-flying MQM folks. These days 100K is not all that hard to hit. There are lots of FT'ers who hit 100, 120, 160 on NW without a single promo. I think it will happen but I also think they will do soemthing about the MQS as well to keep the short-haul customer happy.
It is hard for the short haul flyer. DL threw us a bone when they got rid of segment qualification by giving us 750 MQM min. They moved it back to 500 when they dropped PM qualification to 75k. They also got rid of 2x MQMs on front cabin fares when they went to 75k.
