I know my beef is with DL, but the people calling for 100K sometimes don't realize the cut that happened when they A) dropped segment qualification and B) dropped the 750 MQM minimum (which was introduced when they dropped segments)
Segs should come back I agree but 750 MQM min? NW has a 500 EQM min and it works out fine. I just think there should be some differentiation between flyer's (short haulers included..your point well taken) and non-flying MQM folks. These days 100K is not all that hard to hit. There are lots of FT'ers who hit 100, 120, 160 on NW without a single promo. I think it will happen but I also think they will do soemthing about the MQS as well to keep the short-haul customer happy.
BTW, I would be fine with a 4'th level at 125k or whatever I just don't think you really accomplish anything different that way.
