If you have questions about things like this, ask them they'll happily tell you, ditto your insurance company about what coverage they'll give in case of civil unrest.

I understand you're upset and anxious over what's happening right now but so are a lot of others and it's not fair or right to take it out on BA.

And it's not true to say that "anyone else who doesn't work for an airline" doesn't understand. A sizeable majority of those on here are fully conversant with class codes, more so than some of us who work at the airline. How do they know? They want to be sure what they're getting and take it upon themselves to find out. Please be sure of your facts before making statements as you have above.
the codes are a total secret. for example, passengers have no clue as to who has priority in the event of a delay, to get out first. if i'm wrong, please quote from some BA or other airlines terms/conditions which passengers/class/code has priority ranking to get out on the first available flights. You can't. it's not public information. it's a big secret. people buy tickets with no real knowledge of what to expect in the event of a disruption.

i'm not upset or anxious about anything. i think it's funny how it was well known for many months that there were threats of protests at thai airports. and now everyone is like, "oh, i'm just soooooooooooo surprised that what was known and predicted actually happened". and now the stranded passengers learn just how important they are to the airlines, like BA. who turn it into a money making event for them, consolidating flights, taking little or no responsbility.

and to the other poster, the airlines/cities/airports have created these central points, which are magnets for protesters. so these airlines, again, are all acting like, "it's all the fault of those evil protesters", and we're supposed to think the airlines are just angels, who are really victims. tragic victims. Odd that they are in a business where these things/events are known to happen, it was no surprise at all in bangkok, and now we're supposed to think the airlines are just this tragic victims. whhaaaaaaaaa.
