I've been thru the ASA hell experience to PFN a couple of times now and it is now firm in my mind that I will go on mainliners to VPS or PNS and drive over. I am astounded that DL lets ASA run its own festering pit in ATL foisting abuse after indignity on DLs passengers.

On topic, I just found a FC award JFK-ANC-JFK which priced out at 47,500 instead of the advertised 45,000. The informed answer here was that since one segment was a codeshare with CO and CO requires 50,000 for a domestic FC, DL charged CO's rate for that leg only.
Maybe ASA figures that a ride in one of its crummy propjobs or CRJs is worth a lot more than a nice big jet to PNS and DL is charging you their price in miles. *wink*
