I'll agree with both points. I'm a Toyota guy and the Corolla certainly is capable for loading a surprising amount of stuff. With the Monte Carlo off the market, the standard class is evolving. The only 2-door left in that size is the Mustang, and I think Hertz wants to keep those as "fun" cars. So standard is becoming more of a stop-gap. I think to fulfill standard those people are getting the smaller end of fullsize cars, like the Malibu, Fusion, or Sonata, whereas true fullsize bookings get a Taurus or Impala.
